ITALY, ROMANIA AND SPAIN, together in this adventure!
“The words we choose must be our eyes” (use and abuse of social networks) is the name in English of the Erasmus project that three schools of different European countries are carrying out in two academic years: 2015-16 and 2016-17.
WHY THIS NAME?
It is something obvious that there is a problem with the way teenagers use social networks. Families and students don't usually know how to deal with them in a correct way: by protecting themselves and respecting others' privacy. It seems essential to be aware of the limits of our freedom of speech in and out of the school. That is why we decided to start this common project.
During two academic years, our schools: Instituto Onmicomprensivo Leonardo Da Vinci, from Italy, Scoala Gimnaziala “Al. I Cuza”, from Romania and IES Isaac Albéniz, from Spain, will be developing different activities. Some of them are short trips. All of them are aimed to stop negative behaviours regarding social networks and create security in students so as to face the virtual world. This objective will be immersed into the European identity: we will try to make students and families aware of the importance of the elements we share as members of an old and big continent.
